Production Operatives wanted for on-going contract work in Blackpool.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble cylinders
- Prepare raw materials and components for the manufacturing process.
- Inspect components and finished cylinders to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and report defects, damaged materials, or equipment faults to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area in accordance with company procedures.
- Follow all health and safety, quality, and environmental policies.
- Meet production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Work effectively as part of a production team and support colleagues when required.
- Follow instructions relating to the handling, storage, and movement of materials and finished products.
Skills and Experience
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work to production targets and deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Capable of carrying out manual production duties, including lifting, and moving materials where required.
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
Working Conditions
The role is primarily based in a manufacturing or workshop environment and may involve standing for extended periods, manual handling, working around machinery, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
