We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) tipper drivers to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting aggregates and other materials to and from various job sites, while ensuring timely deliveries. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining our reputation as a market leader in the industry.

Benefits for HGV Class 2 Driver:

  • 39 hours at £12.82
  • Overtime (after 39 hours) Monday – Friday at £19.23 per hour
  • Working Week: Monday – Friday

Responsibilities for HGV Class 2 Driver:

  • Safely operate HGV 2 tipper trucks to transport materials to designated locations.
  • Perform pre-vehicle and post-vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload asphalt products as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each load.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver:

  • Minimum 1 year tipper experience would be desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Ensure safe operation of vehicles adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Experience: Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year (required)
