We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, dedicated Heavy Plant Operator to join our production team based in Horwich. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by operating quarry equipment and ensuring the safe production of high-quality aggregates.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate quarry machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment for maintenance needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AND BE ABLE TO OPERATE CRUSHERS, SCREENERS & EXCAVATORS ABOVE 20 TONNES.
  • Proficiency in using excavators and other quarry equipment.
  • Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7am – 5.30pm & Saturday 7am till 1pm (Saturday overtime)
