We are offering a bespoke, tailor made package for the right candidates who are looking for job security and have experience within the quarrying industry to join our team as an experienced and skilled heavy plant fitter based in Horwich.

Equipment Experience:

  • Crushers
  • Screeners
  • Static plants including wash plants and ready-mix concrete plants
  • Excavators
  • Loading shovels
  • Articulated dump trucks

Requirements:

  • Experience and ability in diagnostics and troubleshooting of faults & breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Ability to strip and rebuild all elements of machinery including but not limited to engines, drive lines etc.
  • Ability to be able to use diagnostic equipment as well as using own initiative.
  • Driving licence (car/Cat B is fine; HGV is a bonus but not a detriment if not!).
  • A good amount of suitable working experience is more important than qualifications and recent heavy plant experience within this field is a definite must.

This role is based predominately at Horwich but travelling to other company sites is required, as and when needed.
