We’re seeking an experienced LGV Mechanic to join a busy and supportive team in Aylesbury. This role is perfect for a skilled technician looking for a hands‑on role maintaining and repairing ambulances, cars, vans and electric vehicles to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on a variety of HGVs, including trucks, trailers, and other commercial vehicles.

Job Details

  • Salary: £28.00 per hour for temp goes to £47,500 when permanent (potential option for overtime).
  • Working 4 on 4 off – 6:30am to 6pm (so involves working weekends).
  • Contract: Temp to Perm – 12‑week temporary placement with potential to transfer to permanent for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on LGV ambulances.
  • Diagnosing faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and ready for service.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work carried out.
