The predicted salary is between 35000 - 40000 £ per year.
Working independently and with team members to design and develop manufacturing new products, in conjunction with internal and external customers, creating and maintaining component and product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting internal colleagues with design and development of new (and existing) products.
- Taking concepts through to full production and ongoing product life support.
- Creating and maintaining all relevant specifications, part numbers and bills of materials, providing all information to relevant departments/stakeholders.
- Producing accurate and robust costings and quotes within tight time scales.
- Providing timely support and direction to internal production personnel and departments.
- Liaising effectively with internal and external customers.
- Off-site visits to suppliers and customers.
- Utilising the functionality of the E10 system.
Qualifications/Courses/Experience:
- HND Level.
- Previous hands-on experience ideally gained in an industrial environment.
- Practical examples of application in similar environments e.g. Sheet metal industrial environment.
- Previous CAD experience ideally 3D.
- Computer literate and conversant with ERP systems.
- Driving Licence.
Essential Skills:
- Able to work under own initiative and on occasion under pressure whilst adhering to strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven IT skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary – £35k to £40K per annum.
