This role is part of the IT Operations team at WJEC, supporting IT systems essential to delivering general and vocational qualifications to candidates in Wales and England.
Responsibilities:
- Data quality and validation checking.
- Review and resolution of data inaccuracies / errors.
- Support the development of automation and “self‑serve” procedures to improve efficiency.
The person:
We are open to candidates who may not have previous experience in this sector and may be transferring from related sectors such as education or engineering. The right candidate is comfortable working with business systems/processes, enjoys understanding how they work, communicates clearly with colleagues and stakeholders, places importance on quality and accuracy, and can apply critical thinking to solve complex problems.
