As an Anti‑skid or High‑friction Surfacing Operative, you will play a key role in our operations. Based at our Airdrie depot, you will join our dedicated teams who work across Scotland to deliver top‑notch anti‑skid surfacing services. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Quality Workmanship: Execute resurfacing projects to exacting standards, leaving no room for compromise on quality.
  • Safety Champion: Lead by example by ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures for you and your crew.
  • Well‑Equipped: Make sure that your team’s equipment and trucks are meticulously maintained, fully stocked, and ready for action.
  • BBA Standards: Ensure that all your work aligns with BBA (British Board of Agreement) standards, upholding our commitment to excellence.
  • Flexible Schedule: Be prepared to work nights, weekends, and undertake projects in the scenic highlands of Scotland.

Qualifications We’re seeking candidates who bring the following:

  • Experienced: Bring a solid background in surfacing operations, demonstrating a high level of expertise.
  • Team Players: Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, as well as engaging with customers effectively.
  • Detail‑Oriented: Possess an acute attention to detail, leaving no aspect of your work to chance.
  • License Holders: Hold a valid driving licence (mandatory) and an LGV licence (preferred). If you don’t have an LGV licence, we can provide training.
  • NVQ Surfacing: Ideally, you will have an NVQ Surfacing qualification or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • CSCS Card: Hold a CSCS card as a testament to your commitment to safety.
