Site Engineer | Suffolk | Full Time | £29,000 – £30,000 per annum Our client is a leading global organisation dedicated to delivering service excellence based on local expertise. They offer a complete groundwater control and management service, which encompasses design, installation and maintenance programmes to businesses throughout the UK and Ireland. They are currently seeking a Site Engineer to serve as the lead WJ representative based at Sizewell C (SZC) in Suffolk, overseeing the delivery and coordination of multiple long-term water management projects secured for the next 10-12 years. Are you the right person for the job? * Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology, or Civil Engineering preferred) * Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising construction projects and site teams (or equivalent) * CSCS card holder * Strong organisational skills and proven ability to manage workloads effectively * Commercial awareness with working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts preferred * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD * Full UK Driving Licence What will your role look like? * Lead and supervise on-site project activities, including drilling, pumping tests, instrumentation, monitoring, water treatment, and water management systems * Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution * Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to progress reports and team meetings * Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, working drawings, and procedures * Support project programme administration, helping ensure milestones are met * Assist in preparing, issuing, and negotiating monthly payment applications * Collect, analyse, and present monitoring data from active projects * Support business development through site walkovers, client engagement, and tender preparation * Ensure strict adherence to Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) standards and promote a strong on-site safety culture * Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the UK business, including Accounts, HR, SHE, technical/design, and sales/marketing * Assist in the administration and development of WJ’s Integrated Management System (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001) What can you expect in return? * Company Car (available for personal use; rental value included) * Profit-Related Bonus – Annual bonus paid in December if profit targets are met * Pension Scheme – 5% employer and 5% employee contributions via salary sacrifice * Private Healthcare – Enrolled into Westfield Health Cash Plan after 6 months of service (covering diagnostics, scans, optical, dental, chiropody, therapies like physiotherapy and acupuncture) * Group Life Insurance – 3x salary after 6-month probation * Gym Membership – Discounted access to thousands of gyms and wellness facilities through Hussle What’s next?
