The principal function of this position is to collaborate with the Project Manager and wider project team to develop, manage, and maintain contract-compliant project programmes using Oracle Primavera P6. The role ensures compliance with NEC4 programme requirements, supporting the preparation and maintenance of the Accepted Programme.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain NEC4 compliant programmes (Clause 31 & 32)
  • Submit programmes for acceptance and manage revisions
  • Update programmes to reflect progress and forecast outcomes
  • Undertake critical path and delay analysis
  • Support compensation event assessments and time impact analysis
  • Integrate risk and early warning processes into programmes
  • Liaise with project teams and stakeholders
  • Mentor staff in Primavera P6 and NEC planning standards

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in construction or civil engineering planning
  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Experience working with NEC3/NEC4 contracts
  • Understanding of Accepted Programme requirements
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Working Conditions:

Based primarily at Kings Langley Head Office with occasional site visits.

Physical Requirements:

The role is predominately office based but does require that the candidate utilises a Visual Display Unit (VDU) as part of their day-to-day activities.
