Are you experienced in Specification Sales looking to work in an award-winning organisation? WJ Group is the market leader in highways safety, marking and maintenance in the UK, and we are on an exciting and ambitious growth journey of which you could be an essential part.
This full-time role will cover a territory across the South East including London and counties within the South West. As part of our retexturing sales and delivery team, you will work with our Head of Sales and Group Commercial Director as we further develop the Southern retexturing operation. The role will require specification selling of our hydro and captive shotblasting techniques to local authorities, national highways and airfield maintenance engineers, as well as promotion of other group activities, organisation of contracts from site survey stage through quotation and delivery to following up with clients on completion.
The role is hybrid working with access to a WJ depot closest to your home or wherever you are travelling and is typically Monday to Friday 9-5, however flexibility is required for industry dinners/functions and a degree of corporate entertainment which inevitably may occur in the evening or at weekends. You will also be required on occasion to stay away from home.
Qualifications
- Experience in highways/airfield/maintenance sectors (sales or operational role preferred).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Teams and CRM systems.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
