Are you an experienced Airbus A320 Captain or a seasoned commander on other jet types ready to take the next step in your career? Wizz Air UK is expanding and looking for Direct Entry Captains to join our growing team at either London Gatwick or London Luton! Wizz Air is Europe’s fastest growing and one of the greenest low-cost airlines, operating a modern Airbus A320 family fleet on over 800 routes across nearly 200 destinations in 50+ countries. With rapid fleet expansion ahead, we offer outstanding opportunities for growth, stability, and advancement.

Eligibility:

  • For Type-Rated Captains (A320): UK CAA ATPL and unrestricted right to live/work in the UK Minimum 3,500 factorized hours* Valid IR on Airbus A320 1,000 hours total as Commander on A320** 500 PIC hours on A320 family** Preferably flown 300 hours in the last 12 months***
  • For Non-Type Rated Captains: UK CAA ATPL and unrestricted right to live/work in the UK Minimum 3,500 factorized hours* Valid IR on any type 1,500 hours on CS25 turbojet (MTOM > 50,000 kg) 1,000 hours as Commander on MTOM > 50,000 kg aircraft** Preferably flown in the last 6 months***

*Factorized flying hours apply (see full list below). **Simulator/PICUS hours not included. ***Additional training may apply if recency is not met.
