Resources are supplied by the charity, but presenters are encouraged to tailor the presentations to fit their own engaging style and to best serve the students for maximum impact. Our \"WizeUp with Jack Petchey\" programme is incredibly popular with our schools, with delivery settings ranging from a class of 25 to an assembly of 200 students. Despite there being no set hours, workshops can last a whole school day or just one hour. This will be known as and when each appointment is offered. On average, Associates could complete around 100-120 presentation hours across the academic year, with some months busier than others. Associates are paid £50 per hour for the presentation. Travel costs will be reimbursed at a rate of 45p per mile if using personal car, or cost of public transport will be refunded. The cost of meals will be reimbursed, along with any extra travel time that is over 30 mins each way. Associates are expected to invoice the charity monthly. The associate is required to follow the guidelines highlighted in the Associate Handbook, which also includes our Safeguarding Policy. WizeUp Financial Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and associates to share this commitment. Applicants must undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. We are an equal opportunities employer.
