We are hiring a reliable and enthusiastic laundry attendant who is great with time management and a self-starter. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties, including washing, folding linens, cleaning the laundry room, and other various tasks as assigned. Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team. Responsibilities
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager
- Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs
- Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods
- Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations
- Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
Qualifications
- Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
- Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
- We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products
- 1 or more year as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or a similar role is strongly desired
Compensation
$16.50 - $17 hourly
