As the Marketing Manager, Trade Marketing you will be responsible for developing and executing best‑in‑class Trade Marketing channel go‑to‑market plans that drive strong omnichannel visibility, consumer engagement, and commercial performance for Wizards of the Coast brands across European retail and e‑tail environments. This role partners closely with Sales, Brand, Finance, and external agencies to translate brand and release strategies into market‑leading retail activations across distribution, wholesale, and direct to retail channels. The position plays a critical role in supporting channel revenue and profitability objectives through impactful, insight‑driven execution.
What You'll Do
- Oversee end‑to‑end trade marketing across distribution, wholesale, and direct retail channels in key European markets.
- Deliver integrated retail activations in physical stores, e‑commerce, and consumer events to ensure consistent brand presence.
- Develop annual plans aligned with product launches, working closely with EMEA Brand and Global Trade Marketing teams.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure trade marketing supports commercial objectives and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Act as the principal contact within distribution, wholesale, and direct‑to‑retail channels, engaging internal stakeholders including EMEA Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Global Trade Marketing.
- Monitor KPIs and analyse outcomes to optimise campaigns.
- Lead the development and delivery of retail marketing materials, coordinating with external agencies.
- Ensure all assets adhere to creative standards, deadlines, and brand guidelines.
What You'll Bring
- BA/BS or equivalent experience with a concentration in Marketing, Business, or related coursework.
- 5+ years of shown experience in campaign marketing, with a strong preference for experience within the gaming, entertainment, or consumer products industry.
- Experience working with agencies and managing a budget.
- Ability to drive projects forward by providing clear and concise direction/feedback and influencing partners.
- Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritising and balancing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
- Well developed verbal, written and presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- An ability to use data to measure the efficiency of campaigns.
- Has a passion for gaming, especially familiarity with Wizards of the Coast brands (Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons) is a strong plus.
- Ability to work onsite at our headquarters in Stockley Park.
