Hasbro European Services provides various services to Hasbro business units in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The HR Director, EMEA reports to the SVP, Global Business Partnering, and leads a team of five HR Generalists. The candidate is experienced in leading HR generalist teams, partnering with HRBPs and COEs, and ensuring every employee across EMEA receives an excellent employee experience. This role works in close partnership with the HR Business Partners who support senior business leaders across the enterprise, supporting and enabling their work within the EMEA region — particularly on matters such as organisational redesign, talent management, and change delivery. Based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge, West London, UK. In-Office requirement - In Office Tue/Wed/Thurs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of five HR Generalists supporting employees across EMEA, setting clear performance expectations, building team capability, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality, consistent HR services across the region.
  • Work in close, ongoing partnership with the HR Business Partners who support senior business leaders across the enterprise — supporting their work within EMEA and enabling effective delivery on matters including local country compliance across employee-related matters, organisational redesign, performance management, employee engagement, and change initiatives.
  • Take ownership of the employee experience across the EMEA region — ensuring HR programmes, policies, and initiatives land consistently and that every employee receives a high-quality, seamless employee experience in line with Hasbro's culture and values.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and COEs to translate global HR priorities into clear operational delivery plans for the EMEA region, ensuring the HR Generalist team executes effectively and on time across all EMEA markets.
  • Act as the senior HR lead and escalation point across EMEA, providing practical guidance on HR matters, ensuring Hasbro's policies and culture are applied consistently, and providing recommended solutions for strategic or complex matters to the relevant HRBP or COE as appropriate.
  • Act as a voice for employees, offering insight into workforce sentiment, organisational dynamics, and morale across EMEA, as well as providing recommendations for improvement or mitigation of issues across the region.
  • Support HR Business Partners in the delivery of organisational redesign activity within EMEA — coordinating the on-the-ground people workstreams, managing employee consultation processes in line with local legal requirements, and ensuring changes are implemented smoothly and with minimal disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with regional employment laws and internal policies across all EMEA markets, mitigating risk and managing legal issues as necessary.
  • Use HR data and analytics to monitor regional HR performance, identify delivery gaps, and provide meaningful insight and recommended solutions to HR Business Partners and global HR leadership to inform decisions and improve the employee experience.
  • Collaborate with the shared services centre to deliver seamless, consistent, and efficient HR support across the region.
  • Lead the operational delivery of change management activity across EMEA in partnership with HR Business Partners — coordinating local execution, managing employee communication, and ensuring changes are implemented consistently and in line with Hasbro's values.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPD or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Significant experience at HR Director level or equivalent, with full accountability for a complex, multi-country EMEA region — demonstrated ownership of the regional HR agenda, including talent, engagement, organisational effectiveness, and employee relations across multiple markets.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing HR generalist or HR operations teams, with measurable outcomes in service quality, team capability, and employee experience.
  • Demonstrated success working alongside Senior HR Business Partners to support the delivery of strategic HR programmes within a region — including organisational redesign, talent reviews, leadership development, and change management. Comfortable enabling HRBP-led agendas through strong operational execution on the ground.
  • Deep knowledge of EMEA employment law, regulatory requirements, and employee relations across key markets, with the confidence to manage complex legal matters independently and provide sound, risk-aware guidance to business leaders and HR colleagues.
  • Strong track record of partnering with COEs — including L&D, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll & Benefits — to ensure global programmes are translated effectively into regional delivery.
  • Commercially aware and stakeholder-credible — able to build trusted relationships with EMEA business leaders, influence without authority, and represent the region's needs effectively in a global HR context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deliver data-driven and pragmatic solutions.
