The Compensation team leads compensation programs for Hasbro. Our work impacts every employee globally through the programs we coordinate. The team also has a meaningful role to play by ensuring our employee value proposition is competitive in the marketplace and financially balanced. We are looking for a Compensation Consultant to lead this effort across EMEA and APAC. The incumbent shall partner closely with local HR teams and leaders to build and implement compensation programs. This role will provide direction and strategic solutions for compensation matters considering both business and HR priorities, market practices, and emerging trends.
Responsibilities- Lead compensation programs including but not limited to market benchmarking reviews, compensation planning, recognition programs, offer development, retention programs, and budget management.
- Play a meaningful role in advising and educating key business stakeholders, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition on our compensation philosophy, to include the following components: base, variable, sales and equity compensation, as well as cyclical and ad-hoc compensation programs.
- Partner and collaborate closely with vital team members and client groups to understand organizational needs and prioritize accordingly. Providing compensation insights to support strategic decisions.
- Proactively assess internal and external trends, relevant pay legislation, market intelligence, and potential impact to our pay philosophy including our pay transparency projects.
- Provide consultation, mentoring and sophisticated advice to HR Business Partners and business leaders.
- Partner with Finance teams to craft and develop incentive plans and support formal plan governance and oversight activities.
- Represent the voice of the customer in the design of enterprise-wide pay programs and lead the design for client pay program.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy in managing compensation programs and analyses, applying sound judgment while ensuring alignment with company guidelines and governance standards.
- Bachelor's or equivalent; proven track record in compensation.
- Experience crafting, developing and owning a variety of compensation programs and processes including base salary, variable pay programs, sales compensation, compensation strategy and competitive pay analysis.
- Deep analytical skills with an ability to break down sophisticated questions and data into well-structured analyses and synthesize key points.
- Forward-thinking with ability to think end-to-end.
- Ability to influence and communicate with executive audiences.
- Skilled in building consultative partnerships.
- Proven experience in advising across regions, ideally with experience supporting not only EMEA but also APAC.
- Solid experience in working in a matrix global organization, flexible in management style across various cultures and backgrounds.
