Commercial Counsel (EMEA) at Wiz
Wiz, a leading cloud and AI security platform, is expanding its EMEA legal team and seeking a Commercial Counsel to support revenue teams. This role involves managing high-volume commercial contracts, advising on data privacy, and acting as a legal business partner in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Admitted to the bar and in good standing in Israel, the UK, or at least one European country.
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software or technology company.
- Language: Strong written and verbal proficiency in English and either French or German.
- Work Authorization: Must have the legal right to work in the UK. No visa sponsorship is offered.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Act as a legal business partner to EMEA revenue teams, translating legal risks into business context.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of agreements including SaaS contracts, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and NDAs.
- Provide advice on contract interpretation to accelerate deal velocity.
- Support data privacy compliance, specifically regarding Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
- Improve agreement templates and legal processes while managing a heavy workflow efficiently.
