WithYou is recruiting for an experienced Learning and Development professional, to join our Organisational Development team as a Trainer/Facilitator. This is a key role for a collaborative and driven individual, who is motivated by impact and excited by a varied role that will directly support the growth and sustainability of our services. You will be joining the team at an exciting time, as we review and extend our core offer to meet the needs of key staff groups and roll out our strategy.
As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design and deliver learning, content, workshops and resources in line with agreed curriculum and frameworks for key cohorts of staff to support delivery of the organisational strategy. You will provide wrap around support for learners engaging with internal and external learning initiatives, supporting the end-to-end learner journey.
This role is full time and permanent, with a salary of up to £37,000. This is a home‑based role that requires regular travel across England. While national travel may be needed to deliver in‑person training, the primary focus will be on locations within the South of England, therefore living in the South is preferable. Applicants must be able to work flexibly, including during evenings and other unsociable hours, as required by the needs of the role.
Qualifications / Requirements
We are looking for positive and motivated candidates, who have both strong communication skills and excellent presentation and facilitation skills. We’d be excited to see evidence of the following in your application:
- Experience of facilitating and delivering learning content sessions/workshops/training and one to one support
- Experience of creating sustainable blended learning content and working with peers, stakeholders and subject matter experts in line with agreed curriculum priorities
- Previous experience of working within the charity sector and/or experience of supporting people with drug, alcohol and mental health challenges would be advantageous, but not essential
