Senior Salesforce Engineer

With Intelligence is currently seeking a skilled Salesforce Senior Developer or Salesforce Lead Developer to join our in-house Enterprise Applications team. As a Salesforce developer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions to meet With Intelligence’s business needs. You will work with the other members of our Enterprise Applications team to build and improve our Salesforce CRM, development processes, and engineering capability as we support the business, reduce friction, and enable growth.

Responsibilities

1. Guiding, mentoring and supporting the wider team
2. Helping the entire team to deliver high-quality, robust solutions that meet business needs
3. Always keeping an eye on code quality, and helping to maintain and improve engineering processes
4. Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions based on business requirements
5. Create and maintain technical documentation for the Salesforce solutions
6. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including coding, testing, and deployment
7. Perform Salesforce configuration, customizations, and data migrations
8. Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations with external systems
9. Provide support and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications
10. Stay informed about new Salesforce features and functionality, and make recommendations for enhancements

Minimum Requirements

1. Experience with source-based deployment strategies, either via scripting and CLI or DevOps Centre
2. Proficient in Salesforce development, primarily Apex, but also Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
3. Proficient in troubleshooting and performance optimisation
4. Understanding and experience of various aspects of testing, including unit test and UI automations
5. Experience with Salesforce configuration, including workflows, process builder, and validation rules
6. Experience with Salesforce data management, including data imports, exports, and data migrations
7. Strong understanding of Salesforce security and sharing settings
8. Knowledge of Salesforce integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and web services
9. Experience with Git or other version control systems
10. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
11. Keen interest, questioning nature, and a desire to learn
12. Strong communication and collaboration
13. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II certification is a plus)
14. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
15. Experience in Agile software development methodologies, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
