About the Role

Within Reach is a supported living and residential care provider supporting vulnerable children and adults across a number of homes in Gloucester. We are currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role is ideal for someone organised, personable, and confident managing recruitment processes in a busy environment. The successful candidate will support the recruitment team with interviewing potential staff members and assisting with all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and responding to recruitment enquiries
  • Updating job descriptions and company information
  • Organising and confirming interviews with candidates
  • Conducting screening calls and assessing candidate suitability
  • Processing new starter documentation and right-to-work checks
  • Securely maintaining personnel files
  • Scheduling interviews and updating recruitment systems
  • Supporting management with recruitment progress updates

Requirements

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good IT skills including Word, Excel, and Indeed
  • The ability to manage multiple candidates and applications simultaneously
  • Confidence working alongside recruitment and wider operational teams
  • Previous experience in recruitment, administration, or customer-facing roles (desirable)
  • Strong telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Good motivation and initiative

Desirable Knowledge

  • Experience or understanding of Right to Work requirements
  • DBS processes and regulations
  • E-Visas and overseas checks
  • Recruitment within the care sector or Ofsted-regulated environments
