About the Role
Within Reach is a supported living and residential care provider supporting vulnerable children and adults across a number of homes in Gloucester. We are currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role is ideal for someone organised, personable, and confident managing recruitment processes in a busy environment. The successful candidate will support the recruitment team with interviewing potential staff members and assisting with all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and responding to recruitment enquiries
- Updating job descriptions and company information
- Organising and confirming interviews with candidates
- Conducting screening calls and assessing candidate suitability
- Processing new starter documentation and right-to-work checks
- Securely maintaining personnel files
- Scheduling interviews and updating recruitment systems
- Supporting management with recruitment progress updates
Requirements
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good IT skills including Word, Excel, and Indeed
- The ability to manage multiple candidates and applications simultaneously
- Confidence working alongside recruitment and wider operational teams
- Previous experience in recruitment, administration, or customer-facing roles (desirable)
- Strong telephone and interpersonal skills
- Good motivation and initiative
Desirable Knowledge
- Experience or understanding of Right to Work requirements
- DBS processes and regulations
- E-Visas and overseas checks
- Recruitment within the care sector or Ofsted-regulated environments
