We are launching a new yoga studio in London and are looking for an exceptional Yoga Studio Manager to help bring it to life. This is a rare opportunity to join at start-up phase and play a pivotal role in shaping the studio from the ground up - from managing the final construction elements and operational set up, through to building a high-performing team and running the studio once open. You will work closely with the founding team to turn vision into reality, helping create something really meaningful for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Studio Set-Up (Pre-Opening Phase): Support completion of outstanding construction and fit-out elements, liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure operational readiness, assist in finalising pricing structures, memberships and class packages, work on cost management and financial planning, support procurement of equipment, retail, and studio supplies, develop and document operational processes and SOPs, build booking systems and studio workflows, contribute to launch planning and go-to-market preparation.
- Team & Culture: Recruit, hire and onboard teachers and front of house team, establish studio standards, service culture and training processes, create rotas and manage team scheduling, foster a warm, professional and community-focused environment.
- Studio Operations (Post-Opening): Oversee day-to-day running of the studio, ensure an exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint, monitor studio performance, reporting on revenue, costs and KPIs, manage class programming, oversee stock, retail, and supplier relationships, continuously refine processes and drive operational excellence, manage on-site team.
- Marketing & Social Presence: Support social media strategy and content planning, ensure brand voice and studio aesthetic are consistently represented, collaborate on community partnerships and local engagement, help drive membership growth and retention.
Who We’re Looking For:
You will have: 3-5 years of experience managing a yoga, pilates, wellness studio or gym, strong operational and organisational skills, experience with pricing, budgeting and cost control, confidence hiring and managing small teams, experience working in a fast-paced or start-up environment, familiarity with booking systems and studio software.
You are: self-motivated and highly accountable, diligent and detail-oriented, calm under pressure, excited by building something from scratch, commercially aware but deeply community-driven, willing to roll up your sleeves and work hard.
