Dual Registered Manager - Children's Services – Gloucester – Within Reach Services
Home: Two solo placement children’s homes LD (Learning Disabilities)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a requirement to be ‘on call’.
You will be the Registered Manager for two Ofsted registered solo occupancy children’s residential care homes focused on providing support for children with learning disabilities. The Registered Manager will have both an Assistant and Deputy Manager based in the home with them as part of the management structure. Maximum of one child in each residence. Ofsted rating “Good”.
Within Reach Services is a leading privately owned provider of complex care in the Gloucestershire area. We currently have 7 Ofsted registered children’s homes, 3 CQC registered adult’s homes and are actively growing! All services are rated Good by Ofsted and CQC.
We pride ourselves on having fantastic packages on offer for registered managers, and we understand changing jobs as a registered manager can be a huge decision to make. Our homes care for young people with a background of SEMH and LD care requirements depending on the home. We are proud to say we have had no agency staff usage for the last few years.
If you have at least 2 years' experience working in the residential childcare sector in the last 5 years and have been either a leader/deputy manager or registered manager, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for a registered manager who understands the challenges that this role brings but also understands the rewards. Our registered managers are commercial and compassionate leaders, able to motivate and develop their staff team to ensure that the young people we care for have the best care experience possible. You will have comprehensive support from two deputy managers, Trevor our Responsible Individual, Tracey and Mimi from an operational standpoint and our recruitment and onboarding team who can proudly say we have no reliance on temporary agency staff.
