As part of a strategic investment, Withers are looking for an experienced HRIS Test Lead to support the successful implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) across our global offices. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, reliability, and integrity of the HRIS solution through rigorous testing and stakeholder collaboration. You will lead the end-to-end testing strategy, working closely with HR, IT, vendors, and business users to validate system functionality, data accuracy, and user experience.

The HRIS Test Lead works closely with HR SMEs, HRIS team, IT, system vendors, and project stakeholders to define the test strategy and plan, lead test activities, and establish robust HRIS test frameworks and approach. This role is critical to ensure that the new HRIS is accurate, functional and performant in line with business-critical requirements, both functional and non-functional, and supports core HR operations, reporting, and strategic workforce planning.

Responsibilities
  • Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and own the comprehensive test strategy for the HRIS implementation. Define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for all phases (unit, system, integration, UAT). Align testing activities with project milestones and go-live timelines.
  • Execution & Coordination: Lead and coordinate testing efforts across HR, IT, and vendor teams. Manage test environments, data preparation, and defect tracking. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with global HR stakeholders. Provide regular reporting to stakeholders on test progress. Be effective in defect management and resolution.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements and compliance standards. Validate integrations with payroll, finance, time tracking, and other systems. Monitor and report on test progress, risks, and issues to project leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR process owners, business analysts, and external vendors. Provide training and support to testers and end users during UAT. Act as a key point of contact for testing-related queries and escalations. Assist the IT test team with queries as required. Assist the IT Test Manager with additional responsibilities where requested.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in HRIS testing (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (core HR, talent, compensation, benefits, etc.).
  • Experience in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a global, matrixed environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take ownership, multi-task and work to deadlines.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level Certified. ISTQB Advanced would be advantageous.

Contract & Benefits
  • 12-month fixed term contract.
  • 9.30am to 5.30pm but flexibility is a must.
  • Hybrid working policy with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
  • 12-week probation period.
  • 12-week notice period.
