Cheshire Hall School is a purpose‑built, brand new, state‑of‑the‑art school. The school provides education for up to 120 pupils aged 5‑19 and caters to children with a wide range of needs including autism and social, emotional and mental health needs. This exciting opportunity serves Sandbach and the wider communities, and you will be at the heart of its development. Our aim is to ensure that every pupil has an outstanding educational experience with individual progress and care at the heart of what is offered.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
- Help them learn, develop abilities and raise self‑esteem.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and collaborate with colleagues, psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals.
- Connect with our pupils through a genuine passion for English and the impact the subject can have on young lives.
- Relate English teaching to each pupil and build a positive classroom environment.
- Lead and collaborate to develop the department and school.
Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
