Overview

As a Teacher at Witherslack Group you will work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self‑esteem while being resilient and dedicated. You will receive support from in‑house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and SEL/mental health needs.
  • Develop learning plans, facilitate classroom instruction and promote positive behaviour.
  • Collaborate with psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment and participate in safeguarding, including DBS checks.

Qualifications

  • Previous teaching experience.
  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Resilience, dedication and genuine passion for teaching.
