Position Shift Leader – Children’s Homes. Salary: £36,231 – £40,640 (based on attendance and up to four paid sleep‑ins per month).
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.
- Lead and support the staff team, maintaining smooth operations and high care standards.
- Deputise for Team Leaders when required.
- Build trusting relationships with young people, fostering confidence and well‑being.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Can‑do, team‑player attitude, willing to help others.
- Authenticity, empathy and resilience to manage challenging situations.
- Full UK driving licence held for at least twelve months.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – or willingness to study with company support.
- Experience with children and young people with special educational needs is desirable but not mandatory.
