Role: Speech & Language Therapist (cover maternity) at Luxborough Court School – an independent specialist day school in Essex for pupils with autism and related needs. You will support a multidisciplinary team and deliver individualised interventions for young people with complex neuro‑developmental and therapeutic needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic support and interventions to children and young people with autism and other neuro‑developmental conditions.
  • Collaborate with educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, formulate plans and deliver individualised interventions and engagement.
  • Offer consultation, workshops, training and guidance to teams around children.
  • Participate in regular supervision and clinical development programmes.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with HCPC.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
  • Experience supporting teams to create clinically informed environments.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to lead and train others.
  • Experience working within a multi‑disciplinary team with ongoing CPD.
  • Valid driving licence – travel is expected.
