Being a maintenance worker in our school means being part of something big. You will be doing your bit to make sure the school building is a great place to be for our young people.
You will do all the general, day-to-day repairs needed to keep our school up and running, drive the school vehicles and keep them in good working order, as well as making sure the school grounds and garden are kept neat and tidy. You will also be a familiar, friendly face, which means our young people will sometimes stop to chat to you, so we will give you some training on child safeguarding to give you that extra confidence!
Hilden Park School is a purpose-built, brand new, state-of-the-art school, catering primarily for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's and Speech, Language and Communication needs. The school provides education for up to 72 children aged 8 to 16. This new exciting opportunity serves Tonbridge and the wider communities; you can be at the heart of its development. Our aim is to ensure that every pupil has an outstanding educational experience with individual pupil progress and care at the heart of what is offered.
