Salary: Up to ÂŁ53,835 + excellent benefits. This role is for a Maths and Science Teacher.
Oversands School is an independent specialist day school providing high quality education, based in Witherslack, Cumbria. The school meets the needs of a diverse group of pupils with a range of complex learning needs, social and emotional difficulties and challenging behaviours.
What Youâll Do
- Teach Maths and Science to pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/SEMH needs; support their learning, development and self-esteem.
- Be resilient and dedicated; celebrate progress and âhuge small victoriesâ with students.
- Collaborate with in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals; contribute to a well-resourced school environment.
- Engage with a diverse pupil population and contribute to safeguarding and welfare.
