Withers Design Associates Ltd is a Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Consultancy who design for many of the large housing developers nationally, including Bellway, Berkeley Homes, Vistry Group, Crest Nicholson, Persimmon, Matthew Homes, Taylor Wimpey and others.
The consultancy takes pride in its excellent reputation, built up over more than 35 years of repeat business; and with an ever increasing portfolio is looking to increase the project team.
We are looking for an Infrastructure CAD Technician to join the team, supporting our Civil Engineers on a range of Residential New Build projects, from small developments to major projects of +400 houses.
If you hold an HNC or Higher in Civil Engineering and have relevant work experience producing Civil Engineering Drawings, we could be your next career step.
You will work alongside senior Designer Engineers to assist in producing:
- Civil Infrastructure drawings detailing drainage, roads and sewer systems for new build residential projects.
- Technical Working drawings to be used by Site Managers and Infrastructure Engineers on site, which are both technically proficient and enable our clients to build economically.
Other Skill Requirements include:
- A high level of computer literacy with good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good time management, conscious of and able to work to set deadlines
- Attention to Detail
We have a strong coaching culture and would be keen to develop your technical skills as you become involved in more technical design work.
