We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support our publishing warehouse and assist other office departments with ad hoc tasks.

This is a full-time role based at our offices in Livingston.

  • Responsibilities: The Warehouse Assistant’s role will include, but is not limited to:
  • Shipping book orders, ensuring these are appropriately packed and labelled and stacked for delivery
  • Checking that the correct quantity and type of books have been received from the printer
  • Maintaining all relevant data in the warehouse management stock system
  • Storing delivered goods safely and logging their arrival
  • Relocating and re-stacking goods to make space for new deliveries
  • Recording any damaged, missing or faulty books
  • Ensuring that the warehouse and picking areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Observing all Health
