Opening mid-May, we're looking for quality hospitality professionals who can help us elevate the guest experience and deliver the tailored service we want to achieve.

The Role

As Floor Manager, you will be at the heart of Nancys, helping the team deliver smooth service, keeping operations flowing, and controlling the look, feel, and ambience of the room. Working closely with the General Manager, you will help develop steps of service and shape the guest journey. You will train a new team to deliver the level of service and experience befitting a new and exciting cocktail bar, while building a strong understanding of our drinks programme and menu across the floor team. A key part of the role will be instilling that same passion in your team, as well as developing seamless communication with our host and bar teams and helping foster a collaborative culture across the operation. Nancys will also have a small but elegant food offering delivered by our FOH team. The ideal Floor Manager will be happy to help build this menu and bring care and attention to execution and consistency, training the team to present and prepare the food efficiently and to a high standard. A bonus structure is available based on this delivery.

Requirements

  • Support the day-to-day running of the floor and help ensure service is smooth, polished, and well paced.
  • Work with the General Manager to develop steps of service and shape the overall guest journey.
  • Train, support, and lead the floor team to deliver a high standard of hospitality.
  • Build strong knowledge of Nancys drinks programme and menu, and help embed that knowledge across the team.
  • Develop clear and effective communication between the floor, host, and bar teams.
  • Help create and maintain the look, feel, and ambience of the room throughout service.
  • Support the development and delivery of a small but elegant food offering.
  • Train the team to present and prepare food consistently, efficiently, and to the required standard.
  • Help foster a collaborative, positive culture across the operation.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a management role within a busy hospitality venue.
  • Strong floor presence and confidence leading service.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, guest experience, and cocktails.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • The ability to train and develop a new team.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in service standards.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach.
  • An interest in helping develop and deliver a small food offering alongside drinks service.
  • Availability to join in May for pre-opening training and opening launch.

Benefits

Nancys offers the chance to be part of an exciting new opening with a distinctive identity and a strong point of view. From the cocktail list to the music and overall guest experience, every part of the venue is designed to be polished, energetic, and memorable. Joining the opening team means the opportunity to make your mark from the beginning and grow with the business as it builds momentum in London Bridge.

What we offer

  • £35,000 per year.
  • Service charge estimated at £10,000 per year.
  • Bonus structure linked to food delivery.
  • Full-time role.
