We're looking for a talented trainee technical support technician to join our team in Huddersfield. You will already have a strong proven interest in all things computer related, such as a hobby in coding or working with computers, as well as a minimum of 1 year experience of working on a technical helpdesk.
The role involves speaking with customers over the phone, so you must be confident on the phone and with communication in general. We will train you to support 1st and 2nd line queries for Windows desktops and Windows and Linux servers.
We offer excellent career progression prospects and a good salary with a relaxed working environment in a small team. Applicants will have a proven history of trying out Linux Desktop and Windows at home or in a work environment. Please do not apply if you are not familiar with Linux; we do not accept applications with no Linux experience.
Please note this position is on site in our Huddersfield offices working in a small team. No remote working. The role is part time up to 3 days per week with a possibility to move to full time in future.
