With Leadership delivers impactful development programmes at all levels of leadership throughout an organisation, helping to develop C-suite executives and brand-new apprentices.

This role is responsible for designing and delivering awe-inspiring leadership development programmes, workshops and coaching engagements bespoke for our clients. Working closely with client organisations, the Lead Consultant will understand their strategic, leadership and organisational needs and translate these into engaging, practical and tailored development experiences. Day-to-day activities will include client consultation, programme design, workshop facilitation, coaching, project leadership and evaluating the impact of our work.

The role requires someone who can build trusted relationships with clients, take ownership of projects and confidently navigate the needs of different stakeholders. It requires a person who can quickly adapt to changing client requirements and operate at pace to deliver excellence. The individual will be able to actively support the growth of the business, using their network, relationships and understanding of the market to identify and develop new client opportunities. You will contribute to diversifying our client base through proactive relationship building, client conversations, proposals and pitches. The Lead Consultant will be a leader in their own right and able to motivate, inspire and manage internal colleagues. The Lead Consultant role is a full-time, hybrid position working out of our Colchester office, with some flexibility for travel, primarily in Europe and the UK.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in leadership development, organisational development or a related field. You will ideally have:

  • Evidence of personal growth and learning.
  • Minimum three years’ experience designing and delivering leadership development programmes and workshops for managers and senior leaders.
  • Executive presence that commands value without question from clients.
  • Strong experience facilitating groups, including leadership teams, strategy sessions and other high-impact conversations.
  • Experience coaching individuals and/or teams; coaching accreditation preferable.
  • Effective listening and qualification skills to deeply understand client needs and translate them into structured, engaging interventions.
  • Project management skills – coordinating from client concept through to evaluation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience contributing to proposals and client presentations.
  • Autonomous in PowerPoint to create visually appealing materials quickly.
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders, ideally within complex or global organisations.
  • An understanding of how to evaluate learning and demonstrate the impact of development interventions.
  • A degree or relevant professional qualification in business, psychology, organisational behaviour, learning and development or a related field.

Guide salary: £55k-74k (dependant on experience)
