Over the past 25 years our company has transformed from a traditional financial publisher to a product-led Fintech, offering a global interchange connecting investors and managers to the people and insight-enriched data they need to raise and allocate assets. With Intelligence has recently raised a new round of funding from a successful technology investor with a value-creation plan centred around elevating our product to be the pioneering and market-leading platform we envisage. We are looking for data and user-centric people eager to help drive us through our next growth phase.

What you'll do:

  • Gather and translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritise the product backlog, understanding benefits to users and our business, and ensure it is aligned to the strategic roadmap.
  • Lead refinement of requirements with the development team, focusing them on delivering value to our customers and business.
  • Plan delivery of initiatives from Product Requirement Documents by identifying suitable breakdowns into epics and prescribing the MVP and subsequent releases.
  • Manage dependencies with design, architecture and data and report on risks and issues.
  • Triage bugs, identify steps to replicate and describe acceptance criteria.
  • Oversee scrum ceremonies, unblock developers to facilitate efficient delivery, including setting clear sprint goals that ensure completion of a feature either for release, UAT or stakeholder demo.
  • Demo to key stakeholders and produce user guides when required.
  • Craft release notes both for internal client-facing teams and in support of product marketing and client communication functions.
  • Run user acceptance testing where appropriate with internal teams and external clients.
  • Own the set up of user engagement and KPI tracking for your features, reporting them to product management and identifying smaller enhancements to add straight to your backlog.

Requirements:

  • Experience building successful relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • A user-centric mindset and familiarity with supporting product frameworks like personas, jobs-to-be-done, and user journey mapping.
  • Take pride in the product, be eagle-eyed spotting bugs and opportunities for improvements and craft well considered features.
  • Strong experience with user story requirements, SDLCs, unit tests and Gherkin acceptance criteria formats.
  • Familiarity with modern data integration approaches.
  • Experience working with ETL, data pipelines, data warehousing, and CDC methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices. Understand core agile methodologies such as scrum and kanban, be able to pick the right approach for your development team and spearhead ceremonies.
  • Comfort with handling data and using it to inform making judgements, basic skills with Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL and such like are a bonus.
  • Self-sufficient and organised - able to drive forward your plans with limited oversight.
  • Take a pro-active approach to your learning and development while being able to take advice and reflect upon it.
  • Experience in the financial service industry with knowledge of private markets and core asset management principles or a track record of quickly understanding similarly complex industries and use cases.
  • Ability to translate technical engineering language to 'business speak' for your stakeholders and clearly articulate business priorities and user needs to the development team.
