Are you an aspiring 3D Artist/Animator looking to get into the games industry?

Witcraft Productions is a new, indie game studio looking for a talented Artist and Animator to create art assets for the characters, environments and UI in our debut title - a first-person comedy horror. In this position, you will have a significant voice in the creative process working with the Creative Director to develop the game’s artistic direction. You (and not AI) will be responsible for the entire art pipeline: from modelling; to texturing; to rigging and animating.

While this is a volunteer position, a full-time position is waiting for you after successful launch.

Requirements

  • An online portfolio of art and animation that showcases your experience of working with different styles.
  • Experience (either professional or hobbyist) of using 3D art and animation tools.
  • Experience of exporting 3D art and animations to game engines (especially Unity).
  • Ability to work well in a team, communicate effectively, and work to deadlines.

Desirable (but not required)

  • Experience of shaders and post processing.
  • Experience working with version control tools (such as GitHub).
  • Qualification in art, games, or another relevant field.
