About the Opportunity
Witcher Associates is partnering with a growing, independent financial services group in London to recruit an experienced Corporate Account Executive to join its commercial insurance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys managing established client relationships, working with larger commercial insurance programmes and delivering a high standard of client service.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a portfolio of approximately 4–5 key corporate clients, with insurance premiums typically ranging between £100,000 and £250,000.
The emphasis is on relationship management rather than new business development, making this particularly attractive to someone who enjoys working closely with clients, understanding their businesses and providing tailored insurance advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an established portfolio of corporate insurance clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, directors and senior stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted adviser, providing ongoing insurance and risk management advice.
- Oversee policy renewals, reviews and ongoing servicing requirements.
- Work closely with insurers and internal teams to secure appropriate coverage and competitive terms.
- Understand clients' evolving business needs and identify opportunities to enhance their insurance arrangements.
- Ensure consistently high standards of service, communication and client retention.
Skills and Experience
- Ideally 4–5+ years' experience within commercial or corporate insurance broking.
- Previous experience managing larger commercial or corporate clients, ideally with premiums in the £100,000–£250,000 range.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
- Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, relationship management and organisational skills.
- A personable, proactive and commercially minded approach.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of key client relationships.
- Experience within construction insurance would be advantageous but is not essential.
We're looking for someone who combines technical knowledge with strong interpersonal skills and can confidently represent the business in client meetings from day one.
