As a Buyer, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing the raw materials that keep production moving. Your day will involve sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and working closely with internal teams to deliver on business needs.

What you’ll be doing

• Source and purchase chemicals and raw materials
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Monitor market trends to inform purchasing decisions
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet production goals
• Oversee timely delivery of materials

Must-haves

• Proven experience in chemical procurement and raw material sourcing
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• CIPS Level 4 qualification or above
• Solid knowledge of environmental and safety compliance
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools
• Degree in Chemistry, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
