About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative and highly organised Content Editor to take responsibility for producing, editing, optimising and publishing high-quality content across the WiT Access website. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing our editorial strategy, improving organic search visibility and ensuring that all published materials are accurate, engaging, informative and aligned with our brand.

You will work across a broad range of international finance and lifestyle topics, transforming complex information into clear, accessible content for a global audience.

This position is ideal for someone who combines exceptional editorial skills with a solid understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO), digital publishing, financial content and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Editorial Management

• Write, edit, proofread and publish high-quality articles, guides, news features, comparisons and educational resources.
• Develop engaging, original content relevant to international wealth, banking, investments, relocation, entrepreneurship and financial services.
• Maintain a consistent editorial voice, ensuring all content reflects WiT Access's professional, independent and informative positioning.
• Review existing articles to improve clarity, accuracy, relevance and readability.
• Manage an editorial calendar, ensuring regular publication of timely and evergreen content.
• Research emerging trends, industry developments and international financial topics.
• Work with contributors, subject matter experts and external writers when required.

2. SEO & Organic Traffic Growth

• Develop and implement SEO-focused content strategies to increase organic search visibility.
• Conduct keyword research, identify content opportunities and assess search intent.
• Optimise article titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links and image descriptions.
• Create content designed to rank for competitive and long-tail search queries.
• Build relevant topic clusters and strengthen internal linking across the website.
• Identify opportunities for authoritative backlinks and relevant editorial partnerships.
• Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, engagement and content performance.
• Use SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush or similar platforms.
• Stay informed about search engine updates and evolving SEO best practices.

3. Financial Content Research & Accuracy

• Research international financial services, market developments, regulatory changes and global business trends.
• Produce accessible explanations of complex financial subjects for non-specialist readers.
• Verify facts, figures, sources and product information before publication.
• Ensure financial comparisons remain fair, balanced, transparent and evidence-based.
• Identify when content requires expert review, particularly regarding legal, tax, investment or regulatory matters.
• Clearly distinguish general information from regulated financial or professional advice.
• Maintain high editorial standards around accuracy, credibility, transparency and reader trust.

4. Website Content Management

• Upload, format, edit and publish articles through the website's content management system (CMS).
• Ensure published pages follow consistent formatting, structure and branding guidelines.
• Add appropriate images, tables, infographics, hyperlinks and calls to action.
• Review older content regularly, updating information and repairing broken links.
• Collaborate with website developers and designers to improve content presentation and user experience.
• Maintain organised content libraries, categories and editorial documentation.

5. Audience Development & Content Strategy

• Identify topics that appeal to expatriates, international investors, business owners and globally mobile professionals.
• Develop destination-focused content addressing financial considerations in markets such as the UAE, UK, Europe, Singapore and other international financial centres.
• Help build topical authority across WiT Access's core content categories.
• Analyse competitor publications, keyword gaps and emerging search trends.
• Support newsletter, social media and digital marketing initiatives through engaging editorial content.
• Recommend improvements based on readership patterns, search performance and commercial objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Content Editor, Digital Editor, SEO Content Writer or similar role.
• Excellent written English, grammar, proofreading and editorial judgement.
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research and digital content optimisation.
• Experience writing or editing informative, research-driven content.
• Ability to explain complicated subjects clearly and accurately.
• Familiarity with content management systems, preferably WordPress or similar.
• Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO research tools.
• Strong research, fact-checking and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple articles, priorities and deadlines independently.
• Understanding of responsible AI-assisted content production, including original research, fact-checking and editorial oversight.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in financial services, FinTech, banking, wealth management or international business publishing.
• Knowledge of expatriate finance, international taxation, global mobility or cross-border banking.
• Experience producing financial comparison guides and provider reviews.
• Familiarity with Google's E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness).
• Experience developing editorial content strategies for international audiences.
• Knowledge of digital PR, ethical link-building and content distribution.
