We’re looking for an experienced stylist to join the team full-time. You’d be picking up overflow demand from a salon that’s been consistently fully booked — no client-list-building, no quiet patches to ride out. From your first day you’d have a steady column. Day-to-day, you’d be cutting and colouring across the full range — classic cuts and restyles, balayage, highlights, full colour, treatments. We’re not a niche-only salon: variety keeps the work interesting and your skills sharp. You’d be working alongside a small senior team, with the salon owner on the floor most days. No regional manager, no corporate management chain. Decisions get made by people who actually work in the salon.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong technical skill. Confident across cutting and colour. We’re not going to teach you the basics — we’re looking for someone who can walk in and pick up where the existing team leaves off.
  • Good with people. Technical skill is the baseline. What sets the best stylists apart is how they handle the people in their chair — communication, care, consistency. We value this above everything.
  • Reliable and self‑directed. No one is going to micromanage you. We expect you to turn up, do good work, and manage your own column responsibly.
  • Tired of salon politics. We’ve deliberately built a culture without the nonsense. If you’re coming from somewhere that has it, you’ll appreciate the contrast.

What you’ll get:

  • £16–£18 per hour, depending on experience and how much you bring to the team.
  • Sundays and Mondays off. The salon is closed both days, across the board. No rota juggling, no working weekends.
  • A full column from day one. We turn clients away weekly. You won’t be building a client base from scratch.
  • Joico throughout the salon. Professional‑grade colour and care. Products you can use and recommend with confidence.
  • Real ongoing training. Specific courses across the year — colour, hair systems, extensions, smoothing.
  • A reputation that works for you. 4.8 stars across hundreds of Google reviews. The brand brings the clients; you build on it.
