Workshop Controller Bath
I am currently recruiting for an experiencedWorkshop Controlleron behalf of my well-established client based inBath.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has strong workshop experience, is passionate about delivering outstanding customer satisfaction, and has the ability to efficiently run a busy workshop while leading and motivating a team of technicians.
The Role:
As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the workshop, ensuring jobs are planned effectively, productivity targets are met, and high standards of work and customer care are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and organising workshop workflow to maximise efficiency
- Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of technicians
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Liaising with service advisors to ensure clear communication and excellent customer satisfaction
- Monitoring productivity, quality control, and health & safety standards
- Supporting training and development within the workshop team
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a Workshop Controller or similar role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work well under pressure
- Passionate about customer satisfaction and quality service
- Confident managing people, processes, and performance
