Our client is a small, family-run business looking to appoint an organised and reliable Training Coordinator to support the delivery of its training courses. This is a varied role within a close-knit team, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement. Time can be split between home and the office, although being office-based will be particularly important in the lead-up to training courses, when materials, equipment and delegate packs need to be prepared.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up new training courses and liaising with course tutors
  • Booking venues for training courses and company events
  • Printing course materials and producing delegate training packs
  • Obtaining delegate feedback following each course
  • Liaising with qualification awarding bodies to book examinations
  • Following up on delegate examination results
  • Preparing quotations for testing equipment required by delegates
  • Project managing the supply and delivery of testing equipment
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team when time allows

The business currently operates 2 courses each month. Course numbers are expected to increase gradually over time.

About You

You will be organised, proactive and comfortable working within a small business where everyone works closely together. You will need strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once. You should also be confident liaising with delegates, tutors, venues, awarding bodies and suppliers. This would suit someone with experience in training coordination, administration, events, customer service or a similar role who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their work.
