Salary: £25,000 basic salary

OTE: £65,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

We are recruiting for a Van Sales Executive to join a growing SME backed by a national investor. This is not a traditional dealership showroom role. You will be based in a professional office environment and provided with the tools, support and resources needed to succeed. The role will focus predominantly on the sale of new vans to both B2C and B2B customers. You will be responsible for managing enquiries, developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships and guiding customers through the full sales process. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded salesperson who enjoys working in a proactive sales environment and is motivated by strong earning potential.

Key responsibilities:
  • Selling new vans to both private and business customers
  • Managing incoming enquiries and following up sales leads
  • Developing new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable vehicles
  • Preparing quotations and finance options
  • Negotiating and closing sales
  • Maintaining accurate customer and sales records
  • Working towards individual and company sales targets
  • Delivering a professional and positive customer experience throughout the sales process
The ideal candidate:
  • Previous motor trade sales experience within retail automotive, commercial vehicles, fleet, leasing or a B2B environment
  • Confident communicating with both private customers and business decision-makers
  • Proactive, driven and comfortable generating new business
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Organised and able to manage multiple enquiries
  • Target-focused and motivated by earning potential
  • Comfortable working in an office-based sales environment
  • A full UK driving licence
