We are supporting a well-established automotive organisation in the search for a driven and customer-focused Online Customer Advisor to join their contact centre team. This is a key frontline role where you'll support prospective customers at the very start of their journey, helping to convert online interest into confirmed showroom or virtual appointments.

The Role

As an Online Customer Advisor, you will act as the first human touchpoint for customers engaging with the brand digitally. You’ll be responsible for handling inbound enquiries and guiding customers smoothly toward the next stage of their journey.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via live chat, digital messaging platforms, and telephone
  • Understanding customer requirements and matching them with suitable next steps
  • Converting enquiries into booked appointments for the wider sales team
  • Recording and updating customer details accurately within internal CRM systems
  • Delivering a consistently high standard of customer experience across every interaction
  • Working closely with sales colleagues to ensure a seamless handover and strong lead conversion

Working Pattern

This position operates on a structured rota covering operational hours across the week. The wider operation runs across 8:00am - 9:00pm, Monday to Sunday, with shifts scheduled on a rotating basis. Total contracted hours are approximately 37.26 hours per week, including a daily break covering operational hours. A typical late-shift structure may include a split pattern such as: 9:00am - 2:00pm, Break period, 6:00pm - 9:00pm (remote working available for the evening session).
