Wistaston Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our specialist SEND provision for pupils with Speech, Language and Communication needs and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is an exciting opportunity to work within an outstanding school (Ofsted 2024), as part of a well-established and highly regarded provision within a mainstream setting.

The successful candidate will work within our 32-place specialist provision, supporting pupils across all primary phases. Classes are small (typically around 8 pupils) and are well supported by experienced teaching assistants, enabling high-quality, personalised teaching and care.

This role requires a teacher who is committed to creating a caring, nurturing and structured environment, where every child can thrive both academically and emotionally. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
