What You'll Do
As a Hairdressing Apprentice, you will support the salon team while developing the skills needed to become a qualified Hair Professional.
- Greeting clients and providing excellent customer service
- Shampooing, conditioning and preparing clients for services
- Assisting stylists with colouring, cutting and styling appointments
- Maintaining high standards of salon cleanliness and presentation
- Preparing equipment, products and workstations for treatments
- Learning consultation techniques and client care skills
- Supporting reception duties, including booking appointments
- Promoting salon products and services
- Following health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Attending in‑house training sessions and practical workshops
Training Outcome
Upon successful completion, the apprentice may have the opportunity to continue developing their career within the salon and progress onto the Level 3 Advanced & Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship, subject to performance and business needs.
