We transform a company’s employer brand internally and externally and change cultures from the ground up. With creative, strategic and early talent experts in-house, our clients have a single partnership with Wiser and we deliver end to end campaigns helping them to attract and retain the best talent globally. We believe that people will do their best work when they're in a space that enables it. And that's what we've shaped at Wiser - a culture where everyone can be real and back themselves, surrounded by high performers who take ownership of their career and make moves, no matter what their background.
Wiser’s social team is evolving. Social and employee advocacy are no longer separate disciplines. The most effective employer brands are built through a connected ecosystem where brands create stories, and employees tell them in their own voices.
As a Social Media Lead, you’ll own and deliver organic social and advocacy across Wiser’s highest-value and most complex accounts. This is a senior, client-facing role where you’ll set the direction, lead from the front, and be hands-on where it adds value, while retaining accountability for outcomes and quality. You’ll operate as both a strategist and a creator. From shaping social strategies and content calendars to delivering employee advocacy workshops and building employee confidence on social media, you’ll be directly involved in the work that drives impact.
This role is for someone who lives and breathes social, with a clear point of view on where it’s going, and the drive to push the quality of work higher every time. You’ll set the standard for what great looks like across social and employee-led content, helping define how Wiser leads in this space.
Responsibilities:
- Owning organic social and employee advocacy delivery across Wiser’s highest-value and most complex client accounts, setting the direction and leading execution end-to-end.
- Building and shaping social strategies, audits, and content calendars, while actively contributing to the work on key accounts.
- Leading and delivering advocacy programmes, including facilitating workshops, training employees, and building confidence in content creation.
- Tracking advocacy programme health (e.g. engagement, content output, participation) and intervening where performance is off-track.
- Owning performance across social and advocacy programmes, monitoring results and proactively adjusting strategy, content, or delivery to improve outcomes.
- Acting as the senior client lead, driving relationships, guiding stakeholders, and setting the standard for what great looks like.
- Briefing and collaborating with research, brand strategy, creative, film, and design teams to produce standout, social-first content.
- Directing day-to-day delivery across accounts, ensuring work is clear, focused, and consistently strong.
- Flexing between social and advocacy, depending on client need, connecting both into one cohesive approach to employer brand storytelling.
- Playing a key role in pitches, renewals and growth opportunities, identifying ways to expand social and advocacy programmes.
- Bringing energy and momentum into both client work and advocacy communities, making social feel accessible, exciting, and worth participating in.
What are we looking for?
- 8-10 years’ experience in social media, with a track record of delivering best-in-class, award-winning work for brands, ideally in an agency setting.
- Proven experience leading high-value client accounts, with confidence owning relationships and direction.
- A deep, up-to-date understanding of social platforms, trends, formats, and how content performs.
- Someone who lives and breathes social, with an infectious passion that influences both clients and teams.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking, with the ability to turn ideas into clear, effective output.
- A relentless drive to create standout, category-defining work, with the mindset that every brief is an opportunity to do the best work of your career.
- Highly organised and reliable, able to manage multiple workstreams without losing quality.
- A natural presence with clients, able to guide, challenge, and build trust quickly.
- Experience delivering workshops, training, or coaching others on content or social media.
- Commercial awareness, with experience supporting pitches, renewals.
