We’re looking for a creative with experience in branding and identity, and an impressive portfolio packed full of creative solutions and a disciplined work ethic. Most importantly, we want to see the real you.
We work with huge international clients like Comcast, Coca Cola, Barclays, and Tesco, responsible for building and executing their employer brands - from strategy and messaging to visual direction and campaign rollout. The challenge of the Mid‑Weight Designer is to work with our brand strategists and creatives to shape a visual identity that aligns with the client’s consumer or corporate brand while speaking to their talent audience. Our stakeholders include CPOs, CHROs, Heads of Talent Acquisition, CMOS, and sometimes CEOs - our work is seen by top people before the world sees it, so there’s a big expectation to get it right.
What will you spend your time doing?
- You’ll take responsibility for 2‑3 of our clients, being a core member of the project teams for those accounts, working with the creative teams to constantly iterate on their brand and produce top-quality work.
- You’ll work closely with the rest of the design team, mentoring juniors on their client projects, providing advice, feedback, and helping them develop new skills.
- You’ll support pitches and incoming creative briefs, helping to shape initial concepts that will impress our clients.
- You’ll be based in our Wiser HQ office in Farringdon Monday to Thursday.
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of agency‑based design experience; employer brand experience is a bonus but not essential.
- A strong background in the Adobe Creative Suite is essential, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects. An interest in motion design is key, as more clients are looking for animated assets.
- Working knowledge of Figma is a plus, as it is becoming a core platform for our creative output.
- Confidence in Google Slides is key for delivering best‑in‑class client presentations.
- Experience using Canva is important, as we frequently design flexible templates for clients.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft suite is valuable, with regular requests for PowerPoint and Word document design support.
- A love for all things design, from brand development to campaign assets and social content, with a drive to create best‑in‑class work for all mediums.
What's in it for you?
- A Happiness team dedicated to making Wiser the best place to work, keeping the office stocked with snacks, sending care packages when you're unwell, and planning events.
- A culture calendar full of options - from black tie to sports day, book club, or run club, there’s something for everyone.
- A well-designed office space with various environments for focus and collaboration.
- The W breakfast - a hotel‑worthy breakfast spread provided by our Happiness team, along with fancy coffee and unlimited drinks.
