We are Wiser, a global, award-winning Employer Brand agency. We build employer brands to guide the best in the biz into their dream career with our clients. We’re a home for people who think big and expect more. We transform a company’s employer brand internally and externally and change cultures from the ground up. With creative, strategic and early talent experts in-house, our clients have a single partnership with Wiser and we deliver end to end campaigns helping them to attract and retain the best talent globally.
We believe that people will do their best work when they're in a space that enables it. And that's what we've shaped at Wiser - a culture where everyone can be real and back themselves, surrounded by high performers who take ownership of their career and make moves, no matter what their background.
Our Creative team sits at the heart of Wiser. We’re a group of generalists who ideate, copywrite and art direct as the brief requires. We come up with our biggest ideas, support tactical campaigns and turn research-backed strategy and insights into creative that moves candidates and employees to action.
For this role, we’re looking for a Creative who is ideas first, but whose strongest craft is copy. Someone who can find the thought, articulate it simply and bring it to life through everything from a three-word headline to a film script or full campaign.
What will you spend your time doing?
- Owning creative outputs across multiple global and nationwide accounts, often moving between very different brands, audiences and briefs.
- Turning insights and strategy into strong creative concepts, then developing them across campaigns, social, film, activations and other channels.
- Using copy as one of your strongest creative tools – writing everything from campaign lines and social copy to scripts, manifestos and longer-form website and brochure copy.
- Working alongside designers, filmmakers, strategists and account teams to bring ideas to life, contributing to the visual direction even when you’re not the person designing it.
- Creating topical content that taps into global events, cultural moments and trends, working at speed when the opportunity calls for it.
- Getting under the skin of different brands and their guidelines, then finding ways to develop their employer brand and creative world over time.
- Confidently share and present your thinking, advocating for smart, brave creative that drives measurable results.
- Learning from campaign performance and social engagement, using what works to make the next piece of creative even better.
What are we looking for?
- 2.5+ years of experience in a creative role, either in-house or at an agency.
- A conceptual creative brain, with a particular strength and passion for copywriting.
- A portfolio that shows strong ideas and the ability to bring them to life.
- Confidence writing across formats, from punchy headlines and social copy to film scripts and longer-form storytelling.
- A good visual instinct and the ability to collaborate with designers to shape how an idea comes to life.
- An interest in culture, human behaviour and what makes people think, feel and act.
What's in it for you?
- A Happiness team whose role is to make Wiser the best place to work possible.
- A culture calendar full of options - from black tie to sports day, book club or run club, there’s something for everyone.
- We’re pretty proud of the space we have here - from phone booths to walking pads, all the way to a rainforest for focus-time.
- The W breakfast - our Happiness team makes sure everyone starts the day right with a hotel-worthy breakfast spread.
- On top of your holiday allowance, the office also closes for up to 2 weeks over the festive period so we can all recharge before coming back in the new year.
- Wiser Bank Holiday - a beloved Purple People tradition in the form of an extra day off in October each year.
- Moving House Day - one of life’s most stressful events made easier by an extra day off.
- Work from Anywhere - everyone has a number of days to work from home or wherever they fancy.
- Learning & development - our monthly ‘Wiser Way’ days give you the chance to choose from a selection of training modules taught by our leaders.
- Therapy - with 5 therapists to choose from, each year you can get up to x3 therapy sessions subsidised through Wiser.
- Vitality Health Insurance - full coverage once you’ve passed probation.
- Gymbox - once passing probation, you can access our exclusive Wiser x Gymbox partnership.
